Terms and conditions of sale
The Product:
- We cannot guarantee the exact ‘finish’ of the articles. Irregularities can occur.
- Outdoor products have not been galvanized. To inhibit rust, we recommend a product such as Penetrol (available from hardware stores) to be applied as appropriate.
- All lighting MUST be rewired to Australian standards. This can be organised prior to delivery at the clients request and at a cost to the client.
Trading Terms:
- A minimum order value of $500 applies to all first orders. This value does not include freight charges or GST.
- Payment terms are pro-forma. 30 day credit is available to approved applicants at a cost of 5% of the invoice total. 60 day credit is available at a cost of 10%.
- All 30 or 60 day accounts are from delivery date.
- Payment may be made by credit card, cheque or direct deposit, prior to, or upon delivery.
- Vixen & Velvet reserves the right to change its trading terms which will be communicated to its customers.
Pricing and Delivery:
- Prices may change without notification.
- All prices quoted are Ex-Works. GST and freight are additional.
- Delivery will be made within 90 days where no unforeseen delays in manufacture or shipping occur. Vixen & Velvet provides delivery dates in good faith and is not responsible for such unforeseen delays.
- Unless otherwise advised, we shall use our courier and refer charges to you.
- Freight charges will be added to invoices and shown separately.
Claims:
- Any visible damage or shortages must be noted on the consignment note or communicated to Vixen & Velvet by phone, fax or email.
- Claims for shortages or damages must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
- All returns must be authorised by Vixen & Velvet staff prior to their return.
- Damaged goods must be returned prior to their replacement being sent.
Property of Goods:
- The goods remain the property of Vixen & Velvet until they have been paid for in full.
- Risk for the goods passes to the purchaser on delivery.
- Vixen & Velvet is authorised to take possession of any goods in which it has title, to the value of the overdue amount.
- The customer authorises Vixen & Velvet employees to enter it’s premises to repossess goods not paid for.
